Product design
Designing products for small-scale manufacturing involves ensuring seamless integration of outsourced components during the final assembly process. Following the initial stages of conceptual design, client approval, prototyping, and final sign-off, the fundamental components are outsourced to specialized manufacturing companies for fabrication. The oversight includes managing the final assembly and maintaining quality control.
At CrackerjackCreatives we are proficient in crafting designs tailored for a variety of construction methods, including but not limited to injection molding, metal casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
Snapper kiosks
For the Snapper Kiosk, a small-scale production design, the choice of powder-coated steel enhances strength and rigidity. The design brief centered around creating an attention-grabbing touch screen interface mounting solution, incorporating a card reader and an EFTPOS terminal. The challenge was to present the screen at an easily readable angle while ensuring stability for freestanding placement in commercial public environments.

Crawleys lemon juicer
The Cast Iron Juicer, styled in Victorian cast iron, serves as a complementary piece to the Crawley’s cocktail shaker. The design underwent digital modelling for client feedback and approval, featuring a powder-coated cast frame with stainless steel and brass components.
